Brandi Bastas – Varsity/Head Coach

I have been teaching at Arlington High School for over a decade, and coaching cheerleading for over half of that.  I love Arlington High and love our cheer program. I am married to Kris Bastas and have 2 children: Marhli, and Zachary. Marhli is a current Colt Cheerleader and Zachary is a future Colt, and I couldn’t ask for a better place for them to grow up! I am looking forward to an amazing year and know that great things are happening here in Colt Country. Kick’em!!

Jared Hall – JV Coach

I was born and raised in Southern California. I began my career within the All-Star Cheerleading industry which prepared me to cheer at the collegiate level. I cheered at Western Kentucky University and Sam Houston state, culminating with winning a Collegiate National Championship in 2012. I began coaching Gymnastics and have been instructing Tumbling and Cheerleading for over 15 years. In addition, I was a Collegiate and Head Instructor for the National Cheerleaders Association where I worked with athletes of all ages, including consulting with numerous High Schools and Colleges across the Country, The past several years, I have also been Judging All-star and competitive High School cheerleading across the country. After working in professional Sports, I began my teaching career in 2016 in Humble, Texas and am grateful to be a part of the Arlington High School Family!

Olivia Miller – Freshman Coach

I love having the opportunity to work at THE Arlington High School as a coach and teacher! I chose the teaching profession at 5 years old and never changed my mind. Coaching a sport I’m passionate about fit in naturally with the job I already loved. I graduated from Bowie High School, where I cheered all 4 years. I am an alumna of Stephen F. Austin State University, and I’m a proud Lumberjack! Axe ’em! I currently serve as an English I teacher, the English I level lead, and the Freshman Cheerleading coach here at AHS. I’m so grateful to be in Colt Country and to be a part of the COLTS Family! Kick ‘em!
